Hi Martin. It's a bit of a grey area as far as the law is concerned. As a rule you should make sure you are using RSS feeds that allow syndication. Different websites will have different rules on their content. For instance, Google news allows you to use their feed as long as your site is non-commercial (no advertising etc.). So it's always worth checking this out. If in doubt you should always ask for permission. You may even be able to do some sort of deal with websites - trading content, links, money etc. If you want to keep it simple, there are many quality article directories where you can use categorised feeds to ensure relevant information. There are also many niche article directories that also allow you to use their content.

I hope this helps!

Great post - something I'm looking into for other sites. What I am keen to know though is if there is a legal issue taking content from another site and using it for posts on your own site? Or is it ok because it is a feed?

Can you clarify?
